Overview
Columbia Anesthesia Associates is a group of Board Certified and Board Eligible anesthesiologists, who practice anesthesiology and pain management at multiple ambulatory surgical centers and facilities. Our main facility is Paramus Surgical Center, where a whole spectrum of surgical specialties is represented, including orthopedics, plastic surgery, podiatry, pain management and oral surgery. In other facilities, we are also involved with anesthesia for endoscopy, gynecology, general surgery and chiropractic procedures.
Our Philosophy
We are proud to offer you a surgical experience that combines safe, cutting-edge anesthesia with a compassionate personal touch. We strive to provide an experience for our patients that is comfortable and pleasant. It goes without saying that we consider safety our primary goal. When possible, we use techniques that specifically anesthetize only the part of the body that is being operated on, sparing the need for general anesthesia, and provide pain relief for many hours after surgery.
Our People
Our growing practice was formed in 2002, with fifteen members currently on staff. As a group, we have experience in a wide variety of sub-specialties in anesthesiology: neurological, cardiothoracic, liver transplant, pediatric and pain management. We believe that the best anesthesia care for you will result from you being confident, and well-informed. While we, as physicians, are likewise well-informed in addition to being vigilant and caring. Our goal is to return you to an alert, awake and comfortable state of health so that you can be discharged soon after your procedure.
